Edmonton and surrounding areas have supported Machine O Matic's success as a small parts machining expert in Alberta, Canada for the past 17 years and we are committed to returning the favor. As we grow into a leading-edge machining centre with clients in the oil and gas, forestry, mining and medical industries, we encourage our team members to maintain a high level of community involvement and to reinvest themselves in our community through a variety of volunteer activities.

Tools for School
Now in its fifth year at Machine O Matic, the staff and owners participated in fundraising for the United Way's Tools for School program, which helps students with limited access to resources get the school supplies they need to succeed. With each consecutive year, Machine O Matic has beaten its previous per capita goal, and 2007 was no exception.

Machine O Matic's team raised over $350 each, bringing the total amount to $4,295 - over $100 more per person than the previous year. The owners again matched their staff's achievement, bringing the total donation to $9,600.

Each year, we continue to raise the bar higher and strive to give back to our community through this valuable program. We also celebrate our company's involvement with Tools for School at our annual corporate BBQ.

Rising Star Award
In 2005, Machine O Matic received the United Way's Rising Star Award for achieving outstanding results in executing the Tools for School campaign. We remain committed to this worthy cause and look forward to accomplishing even more together in the future.
